DMA Cheats Explained: Cards, Firmware, Fusers and Aim Devices
DMA cheats are a hardware route, not one product that arrives ready for every game. A working setup connects a DMA card, compatible firmware, a second PC, the selected DMA cheat software and any chosen display or aim hardware. This page explains where each part fits and what must be checked before buying.
The five parts of a DMA cheat setup
What is a DMA cheat? It uses direct memory access to read supported game data through a PCIe card installed in the gaming PC. A second computer communicates with the card and runs the external cheat process. That data can then support DMA ESP, DMA radar, a DMA aimbot or other game-specific features.
- Gaming PCRuns the game and holds the PCIe card.
- DMA cardProvides the direct-memory-access connection.
- DMA firmwareControls card identity and compatibility.
- Second PCRuns the supported DMA cheats software.
- Output and aimUses a fuser, overlay or supported aim device.
A DMA card for cheats does not include every other part by default. The current standalone Chams 75T DMA card specifically states that firmware is not included. The Chams 75T bundle is different. It combines a 75T board, a firmware choice or unblocker, a MAKCU aim device and a Dichen 6th Gen fuser.
This is why DMA cheat hardware needs to be compared as a system. A card can be technically correct but unusable with the wrong firmware. A fuser can work but fail to match the monitor's desired resolution or refresh rate. An aim device can be present while the selected game cheat does not support it.
The current 75T DMA bundle combines the main hardware pieces, but the game cheat remains a separate compatibility decision.
DMA card and DMA firmware are different purchases
The DMA card is the physical board. The DMA firmware is the code flashed to that board. A 75T DMA card has USB-C and JTAG USB-C data ports, a kill switch and the supplied connection hardware. The current standalone card does not include firmware, so buying a DMA card and buying custom DMA firmware are separate decisions.
Chams currently offers 1:1 DMA firmware options for specified anti-cheat coverage. The EAC and BattlEye option supports 35T, 75T, 100T and ZDMA cards. A wider option adds VGK and ACE coverage. Both current pages describe full BAR support, emulated and legitimate configuration space, a unique driver and DNA locking to the card.
Those phrases should not be turned into a permanent undetected claim. DMA firmware EAC support means the product is intended for Easy Anti-Cheat coverage. DMA firmware BattlEye support means the same for BattlEye. DMA firmware VGK coverage applies only where the chosen firmware explicitly includes it. Anti-cheat updates and incorrect flashing can still change the result.
Card only
75T DMA card
The physical PCIe board, cables, fixing screws and kill switch. No firmware is included with the standalone card.
Custom firmware
1:1 DMA firmware
Flashed card identity and compatibility for the supported board and anti-cheat group. It is locked to the selected card.
The card is one component. Firmware, a second machine and compatible DMA cheat software are still required.
What the fuser and aim device actually do
A DMA fuser combines video from the gaming PC with the overlay output from the second PC. It can place DMA ESP or DMA radar on the same physical display without running the overlay process on the gaming machine. It does not read memory and it does not provide the cheat by itself.
The Dichen 6th Gen fuser supports several stated display modes, including 3840 by 2160 at 60Hz, 2560 by 1440 at 144Hz and 1920 by 1080 at 240Hz. Those figures need to be matched against the monitor and connection plan. A buyer using a high-refresh display should check the exact mode rather than assuming every resolution runs at the same refresh rate.
A DMA aim device such as MAKCU handles supported input output. It is relevant when a game-specific DMA aimbot needs a compatible hardware input route. MAKCU is not an aimbot on its own. The actual target selection, FOV, bone and smoothing features come from the chosen DMA cheat.
A fuser combines display output. It is not the card, firmware or cheat.
MAKCU provides a supported input route for compatible aim features.
DMA ESP, aimbot, radar and wallhack features come from the game cheat
DMA cheats for PC games vary by product. The hardware can support an external read, but the selected software decides which entities and combat features are available. A CS2 DMA cheat can have bomb and projectile data. A survival-game DMA cheat may focus on players, loot and exits. The card does not create those game-specific menus.
DMA ESP usually draws player or world information read through the hardware route. DMA wallhack is the broader search term often used for the same position visuals. DMA radar may appear as an on-screen radar, a web radar or second-PC view. A DMA overlay can carry those visuals on the companion display or through a fuser. A DMA aimbot requires a supported input method as well as target data.
External DMA cheats also differ from normal external cheats. A normal external product runs on the gaming PC. DMA cheating moves the memory-read process through the card and companion machine. That changes the architecture, but it does not remove software compatibility, firmware quality, input hardware and player behaviour from the risk calculation.
- Game compatibilityThe DMA cheat must support the current game and update.
- Card compatibilityThe software and firmware must support the installed board.
- Visual outputChoose a second display, overlay route or compatible fuser.
- Aim inputConfirm the exact aim device supported by the cheat.
Buying DMA cheats without missing a component
Before you buy DMA cheats, decide whether you already own a card. A complete beginner may need the DMA bundle route. Someone with a supported 35T, 75T, 100T or ZDMA board may only need custom firmware and the game cheat. Buying duplicate hardware adds cost without solving compatibility.
If you want to buy a DMA card separately, check the board, data ports, firmware status and shipping details. Then confirm the second PC, fuser and aim-device requirements for the intended game. A DMA second PC still needs a suitable connection and display route. A DMA cheat setup should be planned from the game software backwards, because that software decides the supported hardware.
Searches for best DMA cheats, DMA PC cheats and undetected DMA cheats often mix cards, firmware and game software together. Keep them separate. The best DMA cheats for one game may not support another. Current undetected status is not a statement about every firmware, card or DMA hack sold elsewhere.
What is DMA cheating in practical terms? It is a multi-part external hardware arrangement. What is a DMA hack? It is the same broad category described with a different search phrase. DMA hacks still depend on a compatible card, firmware and game-specific cheat before their ESP, radar or aim features can work.
Start with compatibility, not the longest product name. Confirm the game cheat, card, firmware, second PC, display route and aim device as one chain before purchasing any individual part.
DMA cheats FAQ
-
What is a DMA cheat?
A DMA cheat uses a PCIe direct-memory-access card and a second computer to read supported game data outside the gaming PC. The card still needs compatible firmware and cheat software.
-
Does a DMA cheat setup need a second PC?
A full DMA cheat setup normally uses a second PC or suitable companion computer for the DMA software and visual output. The gaming PC holds the card, while the second machine handles the external process.
-
What does DMA firmware do?
DMA firmware controls how the card identifies and operates. It must match the board and intended anti-cheat coverage. The current Chams custom firmware options support specified 35T, 75T, 100T and ZDMA cards.
-
Is a fuser required for DMA cheats?
A fuser is not required for every DMA cheat, but it can combine the gaming-PC video and second-PC overlay on one monitor. Check the resolution and refresh-rate support against the monitor before choosing one.
-
Are undetected DMA cheats permanently safe?
No. DMA changes the hardware and access route, but it does not guarantee permanent safety. Firmware, cheat software, input devices, player behaviour and anti-cheat changes can all create risk.
